Vietnam - The North - Bac Ha

Bac Ha is home to the Flower Hmong people famous for their elaborate embroidery. At the Sunday market they can be seen wearing colourful full pleated skirts.

Vietnam - The North - Sapa

Sapa a valley filled with cascading rice paddies close to the Chinese border is home to several minority groups. Many of which travel from nearby villages to sell their wares.

The Black Hmong travel back and forth from Sapa to their homes in Ta Phin. On this 12km stretch we pass young girls carrying heavy loads, boys riding water buffalo and young children playfully pushing rustic carts on steep winding roads.
